 Second Phase of School Interships Weekly                         Report 

              REPORT OF FIRST WEEK 

  First week started from 12-06-2024 to    15-06-2024.

              DAY 1 (12-06-2024) 

      Our second phase of School Interships starts at 12 th June 2024 at St Gorettti's Higher Secondary School, Nalanchira.Our divided us into different groups and send us to different schools.I got St Gorettti's Higher Secondary school, Nalanchira..We ,a group of 10 students from different departments are assigned here.Our leader is Renjitha R.J from Social Science and assistant leader is Priyanka P.S from Physical Science.Our other group members are Ancy B.R, Lekshmi Raj.R, Meera M.R, Bijimol,Shilpa Manikandan,Sruthykrishnan, Manjima and Abeesha. 

          

         We arrived at the school on 12 th June,2024 at 8:30 am.After the prayer session  for teachers at 9:10 am. we met the headmistress of the school Sr Acquina SIC .Sisiter gave us permissions to start our teaching phase. After the school prayer at 9:30 am we went to our respective classes . I had class 9 B on the sixth period.Before going to take the class I went to Thrasyamma teacher to signed my lesson plan. Meanwhile,we got several substitution periods.I am little tensed before my period.But it was ok.There are 58 students in my class. They are very active and energetic.At first my concerned teacher introduced myself.After that I started to create a good rapport with the students. I started my class with the chapter 'Half a Day '. Linking the theme was very much effective for the students.Using ppt slides, chart activity and proper explanation my class went well.At 3 :30 pm the school bell rangs and our first day was ended.Overall it was a day which gave me new experiences,new people and new knowledge..

             DAY 2(13-06-2024)

      

       Our second day of teaching practice was started. I reached the school at 8:30 am .At 9 :10 am we had our prayer at headmistress office.After that headmistress gave us a detailed view about today's plan 

Today I had the second period at 1X B . I completed my second lesson plan effectively. I was able to take the class as per the lesson plan.The Entry activity was worthy and informative. Students listened carefully and replied well. I was able to showed them a video about the story ' Half a Day ' . Students listened carefully.My concerned teacher was also there in my class. Teacher corrected my mistakes. At 3:30 pm the school bell rang and it was the end of the day.As a whole it was a good day. 

            DAY 3 ( 14-06-20204)

       As usual I reached the school at 8:30 am.Our day starts with a morning prayer at 9:10 am at headmistress room. After the prayer we have the school prayer. In morning we have the morning line duty.we divide among us to do the respective duties.I have the second period at 9B.I takes my third lesson plan.The discourse construction activity was very effective.Students were actively participated in the discourse.Explaining glossary through ppt slides were very effective.. Students listened carefully and responded well. At noon we have our lunch duty  and  substitutions.. At 3:30 pm there was a national anthem.

          DAY 4(15-06-2024

       It was a Saturday morning ,I reached the school at 8:30 am. We have a prayer at 9: 10 am..The headmistress gave us instructions for the day.Today we have the Tuesday's timetable. I have the second period at 9 B.I had taken my fourth lesson plan.My concerned teacher was also there .It was very effective for me to correct my mistakes..I was able to follow the lesson plan. Today I initiated a discount based on my topic.Students were actively participated in the discussion.. At 12:20 pm we have the noon meal duty.After the lunch we had the substitutions.At 3:30 pm the class was ended with the national anthem. 

It was all about our first day of school internship phase 2.
